Born in Salerno in 1981 and living in Milan since 1999, Silvio Fierro's story combines two apparently distant souls: the rationality of finance and the sensitivity of photography. Graduated in Economics at Bocconi University and currently board member of several companies, Silvio has found his expressive and creative language in photography.

Light, color, and geometry characterize his work, along with the faces of the people who capture his attention. Travel is the guiding thread/light of his research: a journey of discovery of human nature and its work, through encounters and exchanges with women and men who inhabit lands, islands, and metropolises, close and distant ones.

In his photographic training, his encounters with masters Alex Webb, Bruce Gilden, and Nikos Economopoulos have most influenced his vision and narrative.
